I HATE WRITING A BIO
Hey, my name is Ruan and I’m a Cape Town based photographer and aspiring videographer.
Traveling was always my first love, and it coincidentally played a vital role in the purchase of my first camera. I was in New York, November of 2019, about to start a year internship in America when I decided that buying a camera would be a great way to keep track of all the places I would see and memories I would make. Never thinking that it would branch out further than a personal photo library.

Adventure has always been the goal, I hope to explore as much as the world has to offer. I love going somewhere new, drinking the local whiskey, eating the food, seeing the sights, meeting the locals and hopefully take some captivating pictures in the process. I hope these photos can be inspiring and thought-provoking, highlighting the beauty and diversity this planet has to offer. However, I am still new to this, my style will change, perspective shift, but my love for exploration and adventure is going nowhere anytime soon.
